FAQ
What is the wax filler suitable for?
The wax filler is ideal for permanently repairing minor damage to wooden surfaces such as scratches, knotholes, pressure marks or cracks - e.g. on furniture, floors or worktops.
What does the wax filler consist of?
It consists of 100 % pure carnauba wax and natural pigments, the hardest natural wax in the world - without any petroleum, solvents or synthetic additives.
How is the wax filler applied?
Carefully melt the stick with a soot-free lighter or soldering iron and drip the liquid wax directly into the damaged area. Then allow to harden, scrape off excess material and sand the area finely.
How many colours are there?
There are ten perfectly coordinated colour shades based on common wood types. You can select them individually or combine them as a set.
Do I have to mix the colours?
No - you can use the right colour straight away. All shades have been selected so that they work without mixing, but can also be combined if required.
How durable is the repair?
Very durable - the wax hardens completely and stays where it belongs. It is resilient, stable and inconspicuous.
Is the wax filler also suitable for indoor use?
